For when an 812 GTS is too ordinary, Novitec has come up with the N-Largo. We went outside to play with this beast.
The Ferrari 812 GTS needs no introduction. The open version of the 812 is an absolute hit. Read the brochure and you will understand why. A glorious V12 under the hood, still completely atmospheric. The roof that can open. A bombastic appearance. Take all these ingredients and throw in some extra pepper, and you get the Ferrari 812 GTS Novitec N-Largo.
An extreme version of the 812, created by the German tuning brand. We had coffee at the new location of VDM Cars in Houten. At VDM Cars, among other things, this yellow monster is for sale. Perhaps the coolest of the current range. Looking at it is special, but the real attraction you only hear when you start the car.
The Novitec exhausts on the twelve-cylinder Ferrari models are now famous and in the video with the Ferrari 812 GTS Novitec N-Largo you can see why. What a symphony! The V12 really comes to life. The twelve-cylinder has been pumped up to 840 hp and Novitec has also provided this 812 GTS with a widebody.

Harry Metcalfe from the incomparable youtube Harry’s garage went for a few days in FR driving with such an 812. His conclusion: 800+ hp in a road car is too much. Too restless. Unusable from short corners. Also on the autobahn or any other highway: you can’t use it to the fullest anywhere. For track day you also want something else. In short: a car for people who like to brag about what they eventually paid for it, no matter how big their bank account is.
I think that in the extension we have reached the limit in terms of performance in automotive after 120 years. It is too busy and cars have too much power. The next step is flying car. A jet fighter at your door. I personally would find that very cool.

A bit exaggerated that you can’t use it anywhere, autobahn enough space at enough times to just use it…. agree with me about trackday, then you want something other than a GT

4 tons extra because a tuner stuck a few pieces of plastic on it? You must be completely lost to buy this thing for that price. You should actually get money since they completely ruined the residual value of the thing.
