Maserati GT2 Stradale unveiled, a road-legal super sports car

Maserati unveiled the GT2 Stradale on the 16th (local time). The GT2 Stradale is based on the MC20 and has a body kit inspired by the Maserati race car GT2. It also has new seats and a steering wheel. The maximum output of the V6 engine has been upgraded to 640 horsepower.

The GT2 Stradale is based on the MC20 and is aimed at a road-legal super sports car. The exterior of the GT2 Stradale features a body kit inspired by the Maserati GT2 race car. The front fenders and bonnet feature additional air vents for cooling. An aggressively designed diffuser and 20-inch wheels are provided.

The GT2 Stradale’s adjustable carbon rear wing generates up to 500 kg of downforce at up to 280 km/h. Inside, the car features new carbon-shell sports seats with blue Alcantara trim. The new steering wheel features LED lights that indicate the optimal shifting point to the driver.

The GT2 Stradale is equipped with features that set it apart from the standard model, such as a carbon centre tunnel, matte finishes, rearranged switchgear, yellow colour accents and a wireless charging system that has been enlarged to fit the latest smartphones. It also has a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch display and a 12-speaker audio system.

The GT2 Stradale is equipped with a 3.0-liter V6 twin-turbo engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, generating a maximum output of 640 horsepower and a maximum torque of 73.4 kgm. The maximum output is 10 horsepower higher than the basic MC20. It accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds. It has a tuned suspension and carbon ceramic brakes.
