Polestar A Perspective Launch, Iconic Magazine

Swedish premium electric vehicle brand Polestar has launched ‘A PERSPECTIVE’ in collaboration with B Media Company, which has presented iconic magazines such as Magazine B and F. A PERSPECTIVE is an interview-based content platform that captures the unique perspectives of leaders in various fields with their own aesthetic eye and their work, life, and rest. The A in A PERSPECTIVE stands for the keywords of a person’s unique life (A Person), that person’s attitude (Attitude), and the aesthetic sense that creates completeness (Aesthetic).

Polestar believes that insights from various industry leaders can lead our society in a more sustainable and progressive direction, and this is exactly what aligns with Polestar’s vision of creating a better society through electrification, which is why we were able to start this project. A Perspective plans to publish content highlighting one person every week, and the content is composed of two or three parts: ▲’WORK & LIFE’: perspectives and know-how on work and life, ▲’REST & TASTE’: personal tastes and relaxation in daily life, and ▲’AESTHETIC’: methods and attitudes for discovering aesthetic value in life.

The first interviewees for the launch are four people: ▲ CEO of One Million Dance Company and K-pop dancer Lia Kim, ▲ Fashion creator Park Tae-il who is the editor-in-chief of the fashion magazine , ▲ Chief designer Aono Keita of creator team Number Ten under Nomura Crafts, and ▲ Whiskey columnist and operator of the cultural platform ‘Boyeonjeong’ Jeong Bo-yeon. All four are figures who have led their times with their own aesthetic eye and unique perspectives, although they are all in different fields.

To celebrate the launch, various promotions have been prepared. From September 3rd to 11th, a pop-up store commemorating the launch will be held at Sound Hannam, and limited edition goods from the collaboration between Polestar and Magazine B will be sold. On the 10th, Magazine B CEO Myung-soo Kim and Editor Yoon-sung Jang, and WGNB Director Jong-hwan Baek will hold a commemorative talk show on the topic of ‘viewpoint.’

“We embarked on this project because we believe that by sharing the perspectives of leaders and creators in each field who represent the sensibility of the times, our society can move in a sustainable and better direction,” said Choi Yoo-eun, head of marketing at Polestar Korea. “We are very much looking forward to the collaboration between Polestar, a design-led electric vehicle brand, and Bmedia Company, which has a long history of telling the stories of brands and the people who created them.”
