Xpeng is expanding its model range in Germany with a new, electric SUV coupé: the Xpeng G6. The sporty, elegant vehicle is now available in stores, with an entry-level price of 43,600 euros. It comes with full equipment and a lot of high-tech.

The G6 comes with two battery options: a 66 kWh battery for the standard range version and an 87.5 kWh battery for the long range and performance models. Prices increase by 4,000 euros each, depending on the equipment. The long range variant with rear-wheel drive (RWD) costs 47,600 euros, while the performance version with all-wheel drive (AWD) and an impressive 476 hp starts at 51,600 euros.

Fast charging in 15 minutes

Thanks to 800-volt technology, the Chinese car can be charged at a fast-charging station with up to 280 kW. According to the manufacturer, a charging cycle from 20 to 80 percent takes just 15 minutes – ideal for long-distance drivers.

In the long-range version, the G6 has a range of up to 570 kilometers (WLTP), while the performance version is said to offer 550 kilometers. The standard range version also impresses with a range of 435 kilometers (WLTP).

Performance meets comfort

When it comes to power, the G6 shows that it doesn’t just look good. According to Xpeng, the performance version sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds – that’s super sports car level. The basic version delivers a solid 258 hp, while the long-range version has 286 hp. The top speed of all models is 200 km/h.

The interior of the G6 features a 14.96-inch touchscreen and state-of-the-art assistance systems. There is also a 10.2-inch display directly in the driver’s field of vision. Heated leather seats, a panoramic glass roof and an 18-speaker audio system are also standard.

Full equipment and short options list

Also interesting: The Xpeng G6 comes with all the important comfort functions as standard – there are hardly any options. Only an electric trailer hitch (1160 euros) and special paint finishes (800 euros) are available for an additional charge.

The basic equipment also includes features such as a heat pump, four USB ports, smartphone induction charger and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), which can be used to supply external devices with power.

The Xpeng G6 offers plenty of power, fast charging and top-notch features at a competitive price. With a seven-year warranty and an eight-year battery guarantee, it’s an attractive choice for anyone looking for a sporty and future-proof electric SUV.
