The Kia EV3 is available in Norway

Kia is now launching its new EV3. Many are surprised by the good range the car offers, but the interior space impresses even more.

Now the price and equipment variants are in place. A heat pump will be standard right down to the entry-level model, and the luggage compartment is the largest in its class.

The first customer cars are scheduled to arrive in Norway already in mid-November. If you’re thinking that it looks a lot like the flagship EV9 that arrived a few months ago, you’re absolutely right.

– The EV3 can in many ways be called a “Baby EV9”. Lines and lights are very similar. Screens are the same, even the huge headrests from the flagship EV9 have been brought over, explains Christian Lagaard, communications manager at Kia Bil Norway.

Today’s cars are digital, and this is reflected in the way screens and infotainment are laid out. OTA updates are in place. Those who come from an eSoul to an EV3 can look forward to a new world.

The screen is 30″ and three-part. But, despite a lot of screen and technology, the EV3 also has regular buttons for the most important things – such as volume and heat. Something the customers really appreciated.

The EV3 is big enough to be the number one car for a family. You notice that when you try to sit in the car. With the largest battery, the car has a range of up to 600 kilometres. However, even the entry-level model with a standard battery can work for many.

– The range of the EV3 beats the majority of the cars in the class. Even the smallest battery can work for many with a range of up to 429 kilometers. Kia is known for being good winter cars, and we will continue to be. Therefore, a heat pump will be standard on all versions, informs Lagaard.

This therefore applies whether you choose the battery with up to 600 or 429 kilometres. The charging time is approx. 30 minutes from 10% – 80%.
