With a simple modification, everyone can drive around with MILFS on their car.
There is no such thing as bad publicity. Now we don’t know exactly what Christian Horner thinks about that statement, but as long as you are not canceled by the good community, you will be bombarded with extra attention.
Today we are going to briefly talk to you about a car rental company that you may have never heard of, but you will after reading the slightly ironic article. The name of the car rental company: Miles Mobility. Or, as their logo shows: MILES, all in capital letters. Now that is of course a bit of marketing, just like the difference between MINI and Mini. Or AMG TORQUE CONTROL and AMG Torque Control, also with capital letters these days. While RS6 Performance should actually be RS6 performance, with a small ‘p’.
MILES to MILFS
With today’s inscription, a small ‘p’ is out of the question. Because there is a craze in Germany, according to Focus. Namely by removing the bottom line from the ‘E’ of the word MILES. Then it doesn’t say MILES, but MILFS. Since you all use the Internet for car-related things, you may have completely missed the term.
It stands for ‘Mom I Like to F (fill in the blank)’. The term became famous – apparently – through the movie American Pie as the description for Stifflers Mom. She was played by Jennifer Coolidge and that may still mean nothing to you. It was the woman who drove by in that dark gray Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG at the end of American Pie 2 (now you remember, right?).
Evil boy territory
Now it is basically a form of mild vandalism and more of a mischievous prank than hard crime. But things are starting to get serious for the rental company MILES. They started using shared cars in 2017 and with the large logo they could advertise their business well, while you also earn money from their rental or service.
The big problem is that everyone finds it very funny. There is a lot of sniggering, some people even coo! But yes, MILES has 21,000 cars in its fleet that drive around 15 German cities.
And there are many people who cannot resist providing their cars with a customized logo. MILES has now filed hundreds of reports for vehicles for which the MILES logo has been changed to MILFS. This is often not done very carefully, which also damages the paint of the vehicles. That’s not cool.
