Promises aesthetic qualities
The brand new Skyhome seems to have very special aesthetic qualities, but it is the inside of the car that is really emphasized.
Here we have yet another long and complicated story which, as far as BilNorge.no is concerned, ends in a very surprising car.
A car that is also presented with one of the most comprehensive – I didn’t say easy to understand – websites ever from that corner of the world.
The car comes from an industrial conglomerate called Skywell. To make it concrete, you will also find a bus manufacturer within the group that builds buses called Golden Dragon.
In Norway, almost 100 buses from there were registered last year – at least it seems that the company exists. It is not always so obvious.
Although they have been doing battery-electric buses for a long time, they reacted late to New Energy passenger cars. It was not long ago that they established Skyworth Automobile.
Sky home
From there, first came a rather stiff and heavy (I’m talking about the looks) SUV called the BE11 and then – like lightning from the sky, not many weeks before Christmas – a proud Stephen Wong showed off the new Skyhome.
Here are some highlights:
– Skyhome shows epoch-making breakthroughs in aesthetic design, intelligent driving and efforts for health and is about to become a leader in the New Energy market.
– The car makes use of genes from 35 years of local Chinese production, the design is inspired by classical Chinese architecture and the Skyworth Automotive Global Design Center has taken a lot from classical Chinese art.
And then we are already into concrete properties.
What they call ‘cornice wings’ but which I would call a spoiler
– not only gives the body a slightly more hunting aesthetic, but it can also be slid slightly backwards – which reduces air resistance by 3 percent, or it can be tilted up so that air resistance increases by 5 percent.
– The matrix light at the front is inspired by the glazed roof tiles on Chinese houses, both beautiful and practical. While the high brake lights and the rear window create a reflection that should reproduce the charm of “Chinese red”(??).
And then it really begins:
– The steering wheel and the interior lighting are a perfect interpretation of “the sky is round and the earth is round and sky and man are one”.
– The entire Skyhome design combines classic architecture with modern technology, which gives this travel tool (!) a connection with the classics, which in turn gives the whole form a sense of calm, nobility and order.
– Here, Skyworth Automobile has carefully launched “Ten smart butlers”, based on AI algorithms and large models. They cover functions such as entrepreneurship, finance, development planning, time management, protection against emotions and possible exploitation.
– After careful learning, Skyhome’s intelligent voice has also learned to “listen, speak, see, recognize, understand and think”. Multi-purpose voice interactions allow Skyhome to understand and process more complicated voice commands. Since the cockpit is constantly on standby, the response time is dramatically shortened.
– Skyhome has also made major breakthroughs when it comes to the unique health features. The car’s health cockpit is based on a multi-modal computer platform that we find in the biometrics and it uses smart, contactless, monitoring of vital signals.
– This can mean early diagnosis and intervention to mitigate the risk of illness, where it interacts with the driver via a voice assistant. The interaction will occur frequently through monitoring of the driver’s physical condition, risk notification and through the use of intelligent healthcare.
But there is also some talk about the car:
– Skyworth has developed a drive-by-wire chassis itself, and worked hard to break down national and foreign technology monopolies. We use Skyworth Aladdin 1.0 suspension and thereby introduce the Skyworth Magic Carpet age.
– Double wishbones at the front, five-link aluminum suspension at the rear and the “golden” 50:50 front/rear axle load that is known as the most capable suspension system in the automotive industry (!).
We also get details of the self-supporting construction, with torsional stiffness of 39,000 Nm/degree – which means rigid. The top plate of the battery box is combined with the floor of the body which reduces the number of parts by 127 which reduces both weight and volume and increases internal vertical space by 10 cm.
Moreover, it suddenly says, the introduction of Onebox enables level 3 autonomous driving.
Strive
It is rare that I have seen a similar mixture of concrete information and the completely incomprehensible – because then it happens again.
– Skyworth Auto is ready to create a smart and mobile third space for strivers, said Stephen Wong at the press conference where he launched the marvel.
– Hard-working strivers have always been a target group for Skyworth Automobile – and therefore help with their health problems has always been our priority, he said.
They have a health database of more than 100 million (so what?) and use AI in their health technology which has been continuously upgraded from version 1.0 to today’s 3.0 real-time interactive technology, which helps both the career and health of these strivers.
It really ends there – that is, they add two Snapdragon 8295 chips running it all – and really, I don’t mean to make fun of this, because I think we’re entering a new field that neither you nor I understand the scope of .

New terms
What we are interested in is, for example, two engines, four-wheel drive and 460 kW and 3.5 to 100, but it may be that there are other things that will be involved in the future.

There is also a lot of tech in the back seat. Fridge, table, seats that can be tilted into a sleeping position with foot massage, a screen that can be pulled down from the roof if you want an exclusive cinema in the back while driving – a private jet on wheels.
And the outside: – that’s what I fell for first.
Soft lines, with an unusually strong convex-concave play and a front that looks like it really has character. Good use of the LED lights. Digital mirrors, door handles flush with the body, door opening without B-pillars, panoramic glass roof – all these details also help.
They write that they will prioritize the EU in their export work, but at the same time there are reports that the car is already on its way into Russia and that 90 percent of the prototype that was shown will be found on the production model.
The most incredible thing is the suggested price: between 220,000 and 250,000 yuan – NOK 320,000-360,000.
Too good to be true?
