The Kia EV3 leaks like a sieve, straight into that men’s Tena.
As you all know, the future is a medium-sized electric crossover. Everyone wants that, so do you. And that’s the beauty of the free market these days, if you don’t get it, you’ll still have it shoved down your graceful throat. Yes, you can make a nice foie gras from all those crossovers.
In addition to the invasion of Chinese electric cars, we of course also have more Asian countries where electric cars are popular. No, strangely enough, that’s not Japan. They are hopelessly missing the point when it comes to electric cars. Don’t worry, the EVs they do build are, without exception, medium crossovers.
Kia EV3 leaking
No, it is the South Koreans from Kia who are working hard. They were there early with the electric Soul and later with the e-niro. There is now also an ‘EV’ line that – and this must be a coincidence – is also called EV! The EV6 has been around for a while and we have just welcomed the EV9. However, Kia will expand the line with, in this case, the Kia EV3.
The unveiling is scheduled for May 27, but Carwale managed to get the photos. They are a bit grainy, but that shouldn’t spoil the fun. It is not an extreme surprise, because the new Kia EV3 looks very much like the Kia EV3 Concept. As you can see, there are two variants (as is often the case with Kias), the standard version and the GT-Line.
Just wait a little longer
There are some differences with the concept version, but much less than is normally the case. Even the wheels have made it to the production stage! In terms of interior, some work has been done to get it ready for production. The colors (not mint green) and the regular buttons (hello normal buttons!) are different.
In terms of specifications, it is still a matter of guessing, as well as prices and availability. But given that this segment is extremely popular and Kia is doing very well at the moment, we would not be surprised that this will become one of the best-selling cars in the Netherlands, we ourselves talked about the new Golf van Nederland.
