The domestic driving distance of Mercedes-Benz EQA and EQB partial changes were revealed ahead of launch next month. According to the Ministry of Environment, the EQA and EQB partial modifications can drive 367km and 302km, respectively, on a single full charge. Partial changes to EQA and EQB resulted in slight changes to the exterior design and improved product quality, including wireless software updates.
Partial changes to EQA and EQB have improved low-temperature driving range when fully charged through system optimization. Domestic trims are EQA 250 and EQB 300 4MATIC. The new EQA runs 367km at room temperature (393 in the city, 336 on the highway) and 298km (274 in the city, 327 on the highway) at low temperatures when fully charged with a 68.7kWh battery.
The driving distance on a single charge of the new EQB is 302km (313 in the city, 288 on the highway) at room temperature and 255km (228 in the city, 288 on the highway) at low temperatures. Battery capacity is 68.7kWh. The new EQB is operated as a 5-seater and a 7-seater. EQA is a front-wheel drive single motor with a maximum output of 190 horsepower and a maximum torque of 38.2kgm.
The EQB is a four-wheel drive dual motor that produces a combined total output of 228 horsepower and a maximum torque of 39.8kgm. The partial changes to the EQA and EQB slightly changed the exterior design, such as inserting a triangular star pattern into the front grill. New design wheels are provided. The interior is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and display as standard.
The new EQA/EQB has removed the existing touch pad and supports voice recognition with enhanced natural language recognition. The latest MBUX infotainment system features wireless software updates and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dolby Atmos has been added to the global standard Burmester sound.
