Cadillac unveiled the Escalade partial change on the 18th (local time). The Escalade partial change has the latest Cadillac family look applied to the front, a total of 55-inch displays including the passenger seat display, and high-end specifications added. It is only operated with a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine. The domestic release date has not been decided yet.
Escalade is Cadillac’s full-size flagship SUV. The new Escalade is a partially changed model of the Escalade full change that was released in 2020. Cadillac plans to start production of the partially changed Escalade from the end of this year. The official price of the new Escalade has not been released.
The Escalade’s partially modified exterior reflects Cadillac’s latest electric vehicle design language. The front features sleekly designed horizontal daytime running lights, vertically positioned signature daytime running lights, and headlamps. The turn signals are integrated into the upper daytime running lights. The grille size has been slightly reduced.
The new Escalade offers wheels up to 24 inches. The rear taillights have revised interior graphics. The interior of the new Escalade features a 35-inch display with a digital instrument cluster and display integrated into a single panel, a 20-inch passenger display, and a total of 55-inch displays, as well as premium materials.
The center fascia is equipped with an auxiliary display that can control overall vehicle functions. It features a new steering wheel, column-type gear lever, 128-color ambient lamps, and a 40-speaker AKG Studio Reference sound system. The new Escalade has an electric door opening function.
The driver’s door automatically opens when the driver approaches the driver’s door, and automatically closes when the brake pedal is pressed. The other three doors can be controlled by the auxiliary display. The powertrain is operated by a single 6.2-liter V8 engine with the diesel discontinued. The maximum output is up to 691 horsepower depending on the specification.
