If a house were a time machine, we’ve found one in Ede!
Everyone experiences a house differently. One homeowner throws a lot of money at it and renovates it for his or her own pleasure. The other believes it all and says: I’m fine with it. I bet we have one of the latter category with this house. It does put a smile on my face. Not to live there, but because of the nostalgia.

Now tell me. When you enter this house, don’t you feel like you’re in an episode of Bassie and Adriaan and the Disappeared Crown (1988)? I’m sure @nicolasr agrees with me! You see yourself drinking a cup of comfort here and suddenly adjutant van der Steen walks in. Really.
The great thing about this house is that the nostalgia is not limited to the appearance. There is a big Jaguar from bygone times in the garage. The garage that also looks nice and old. Lovely! It is that the quality of the photos is razor sharp. Otherwise I would have thought that this house had been offered for sale on Funda for 30 years.
The house dates from 1976 and is for sale for 1.15 million euros. With 1,037 square meters of plot area, you have plenty of space. The indoor garage with workbench is accessible from the kitchen. You can occasionally glance at the cart while cutting your zucchini. Nice, right? Or a game of ping-pong.
The dose of nostalgia continues as we virtually walk through the garden. At the very back under a carport, there is a history book on wheels parked. Who knows what it is, please tell me.
