Kia Carnival Hybrid High Limousine will be launched in March in Korea

The introduction of the Kia Carnival Hybrid High Limousine in Korea is imminent. According to the Ministry of Environment, Kia has completed emission and noise certification for the Carnival Hybrid High Limousine and has begun preparations for full-scale launch. Carnival High Limousine is equipped with options that differentiate it from the regular model. The price starts from 62.5 million won.

Carnival Hybrid High Limousine prices are KRW 62.5 million for the 9-seater Noblesse, KRW 69.45 million for the Signature, KRW 72.7 million for the 7-seater Signature, and KRW 96.5 million for the 4-seater Signature. The Hybrid High Limousine is currently in the pre-order stage and customer deliveries are scheduled to begin after its launch in March. High Limousine is equipped with specialized specifications.

The Carnival High Limousine has different exterior features from the regular model, such as side steps, a high roof, and rear auxiliary brake lights. The interior is designed with the concept of ‘premium relaxation in a dedicated space’, and the overall height has been increased by up to 305mm to secure spacious interior space. A 21.5-inch display for rear seat passengers is standard.

Online video service (OTT), e-SIM router capable of using in-vehicle Wi-Fi, built-in air purifier, rear seat side and rear pleated curtains, navigation-based smart cruise control, highway driving assist 2, rear seat passenger notification, rear side collision Preventive collision assistance and enhanced forward collision prevention are also standard features.

The 4-seater Signature, the highest trim of the Carnival Hybrid High Limousine, is equipped with second-row independent seats that support dynamic body care such as blow/vibration massage, refrigerator/heater, foot massager, 7-inch touch-type second-row controller, exclusive rear seat table, and rear seat heating and ventilation. Nappa leather seats and wood floors are installed as standard.

The powertrain is the same as the regular Carnival Hybrid. The combination of the 1.6 gasoline turbo engine, 6-speed automatic transmission, and electric motor produces a total system output of 245 horsepower and a maximum torque of 37.4kgm. Fuel economy was not disclosed. Supports E-Ride, E-Handling, and E-EHA. Starry sky mood lighting is an optional option.

Meanwhile, the price of the new Carnival High Limousine 3.5 gasoline is 64.9 million won for the 9-seater Signature, 68.2 million won for the 7-seater Signature, and 92 million won for the 4-seater Signature. The 2.2 diesel can only be selected in the 9-seater Signature, and the price is 66.85 million won. The highest price for the High Limousine full package is 103.6 million won for the hybrid.
