Skoda Enyaq: well equipped from the ground up

VW ID.4: the powerful electric SUV

With the ID.4, VW primarily on practical utility. Hence the SUV optionally with a trailer hitch and roof rails. And the ID.4 can pull quite a lot: up to 1200 kilograms. In terms of dimensions, the Wolfsburg-based vehicle is slightly larger than the comparable combustion engine model VW Touran; however, it remains true to its practical lines with a turning circle of ten metres. Externally, the ID.4 has a lot to offer its little brother, the compact ID.3has a more elegant design, but the interior is almost identical.

The ID.4 is currently available for under 50,000 euros as “Pure”, “Goal” and “Pro”. The entry-level Pure variant costs at least 40,355 euros, the Pro 46,355 euros. Customers are offered a lot here: In addition to 150 kW (204 hp), a large battery with 77 kWh (range of up to 531 kilometers) and a roof load of up to 75 kilograms, the ID.4-Pro is a real all-round talent.

Hyundai Ioniq 5: almost 13,000 euros cheaper at Carwow

Fast charging thanks to the 800-volt network was initially only available for high-priced electric cars such as the Porsche Taycan reserved – but the Hyundai Ioniq 5 quickly changed that. This alone allows the South Korean SUV to stand out from its direct competitor, the ID.4, which only charges with a 400-volt network and is therefore slower.

But the Hyundai has a lot to offer. If you like angular and futuristic cars that still have a hint of retro look, you should be happy with the Ioni5. And you won’t miss out on driving fun either, because you can choose between 170, 229 or 325 hp!

The electric SUV is of course not cheap. It starts at a price of 43,990 euros, but you can save a lot at Carwow. Almost 13,000 euros off – 12,701 euros! This top discount applies to the version with a large 77.4 kWh battery and the highest equipment level “Uniq”.
