Chevrolet Equinox Plus interior revealed, blue dashboard ‘eye-catching’

Chevrolet China unveiled the interior of the new Equinox Plus. The new Equinox Plus is a plug-in hybrid based on a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine. When the battery and fuel are fully charged, it can drive more than 1,000 km based on CLTC. The interior is differentiated from the regular model with blue accents.

The new Equinox Plus is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) of the 4th generation full-change Equinox. The new Equinox Plus is equipped with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine, continuously variable transmission, GM’s next-generation PHEV system that uses P1 type + P3 type dual motors in series and parallel, and lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery.

The new Equinox Plus engine’s maximum output is 173 horsepower and maximum torque is 25.5kgm. The maximum output of the electric motor is 190 horsepower. The new Equinox Plus accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km/h. When the battery and fuel are fully charged, it can drive over 1,000 km based on CLTC and 155 km in EV.

The interior of the new Equinox Plus is equipped with an 11-inch digital instrument panel, a dual screen consisting of an 11.3-inch display, surround ambient lamps, turbine air vents, and two-tone stitched leather seats. The dashboard, door trim, center console, and air vent edges are finished in blue, differentiating it from the regular model.

The basic trunk capacity of the new Equinox Plus is 648 liters, and expands to a maximum of 1,619 liters when the second row of seats is folded. The new Equinox Plus body size is 4653mm in length, 1902mm in width, 1714mm in height, and 2730mm wheelbase. It offers an exterior that reflects Chevrolet’s latest design language and Plus-exclusive wheels.
