Dodge released the pricing for the new Charger Daytona on the 8th (local time). The new Charger Daytona is an electric vehicle equipped with a 100.5 kWh battery, and depending on the trim, it produces a combined maximum output of 637 horsepower. The driving range is 510 km according to the EPA. The US price starts at $59,595 (about 82 million won).

The new Charger is operated in the form of a combination of the existing 2-door coupe Challenger and the 4-door Charger. The new Charger is mainly an electric vehicle. The US price of the new Charger is $59,595 (about 82 million won), and the high-performance Scat Pack is $73,190 (about 100 million won). It is more than $10,000 (about 13 million won) more expensive than the new Ford Mustang, which is an internal combustion engine.

The new Charger is based on Stellantis’ STLA platform. Equipped with a 100.5kWh battery, it can travel 510km on a single charge according to EPA standards. The new Charger comes standard with dual-motor all-wheel drive. The base model has a combined total output of 462 horsepower, maximum torque of 55.8kgm, and 0->100km/h acceleration of 4.8 seconds.

The new Charger Scat Pack produces a combined total output of 637 horsepower and a maximum torque of 86.6 kgm. With the PowerShot overboost function, the combined total output can be increased to 679 horsepower. With the overboost standard, it can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and 1/4 mile (approximately 400 m) in 11.5 seconds.

The new Charger Scat Pack has a significantly reduced driving range of 418 km on a single charge compared to the base model. The new Charger offers a Brembo braking system, dual-valve adaptive damping suspension, leather and suede performance seats, and heated second-row seats. It also supports a virtual exhaust sound like the Hyundai Ioniq 5N.
