GMC Acadia full change costs around 59 million won in the US, more luxurious than Traverse

GMC revealed the Acadia full-change US price on the 2nd (local time). The new Acadia is a sibling car that shares a platform and powertrain with the Chevrolet Traverse and features a luxurious interior and exterior and a downsized 2.5 gasoline turbo. In the US, it starts from 59 million won. Domestic release is undecided.

The new Acadia shares its platform and powertrain with the new Chevrolet Traverse. The US price of the new Acadia ranges from $43,995 (approximately 59 million won) to $57,695 (approximately 77 million won) depending on the trim, up to $6,600 (approximately 8.8 million won) higher than before. It is up to $5,000 more expensive than the Traverse.

The new Acadia has an overall length of 269 mm and a wheelbase of 213 mm longer than before, increasing the size of the body and securing interior space. In particular, trunk capacity increased by 80% and second-row legroom increased by 36%. The exterior of the new Acadia reflects GMC’s new design language, including ‘C’ shaped daytime running lights and rear lamps.

The interior of the new Arcadia features an 11-inch digital instrument panel, 15-inch vertical display, floating center console with sliding cover, column-type gear lever, active noise canceling, BOSE premium audio system, and two-tone perforated leather seats. Built-in Google-based infotainment system.

The new Acadia is equipped with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission, producing a maximum output of 328 horsepower and a maximum torque of 45.1kgm. It operates in front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. The maximum towing capacity is 2268 kg. The latest driver assistance system is applied as standard. AT4 is an off-road specialized trim.
