With a range of 320 km and 361 liters of luggage, it is an affordable car for city driving and family use.
Fiat is known for making small and fun cars. Now it is time for the Fiat Panda to become “Grande”. The all-electric version has a starting price of under 25,000 euros, which corresponds to approximately 280,000 kroner.
Fiat CEO, Olivier Francois, has announced that the Grande Panda will compete with models such as the Renault 5, Volkswagen’s upcoming ID.2all and the Citroën ë-C3. The Grande Panda shares technology with the Citroën ë-C3 as both brands are owned by the Stellantis group.
Despite the epithet Grande, the car is compact, with a length of 3.99 meters and a width of 1.67 meters. Despite that, a full 361 liters can be found in the luggage compartment. The engine has an output of 83 kW (113 horsepower) and the car is equipped with a 44 kWh LFP battery that gives a range of 320 km according to WLTP.
Inside, the Grande Panda has a 10.25-inch touchscreen, framed in an oval that pays homage to Fiat’s classic test track on the roof of its former factory in Turin. A small model car is in the lower right part of the frame, which is a fun detail.
Grande Panda will be offered in the colors red, green, blue, yellow, as well as white and black. The launch is planned for autumn and the car is the first in a series of new models from Fiat.
