Hyundai Motor Company launched the E-Value+ trims of the Ioniq 5, 6, and Kona Electric on the 3rd. The E-Value+ trim is a practical trim that is faithful to the basic performance of electric vehicles while slimming down some of the specifications to increase accessibility to electric vehicle purchases. The driving range is 300~368km. The price is 41.42~47 million won.

The detailed prices of the E-Value+ trims are 41.42 million won for the Kona Electric, 47 million won for the Ioniq 5, and 46.95 million won for the Ioniq 6, reflecting tax benefits. Hyundai Motors expects the actual purchase price to drop to the 30 million won range with government and local government subsidies. The E-Value+ trim is a practical model that increases purchasing accessibility.

The E-Value+ trim is equipped with the same battery as the base Standard model. The Ioniq 5 can drive 368 km on a single charge with a 63 kWh lithium-ion battery. The Ioniq 6 has a 53 kWh lithium-ion battery and a driving range of 367 km. The Kona Electric has a 48.6 kWh battery and a driving range of 300 km.

The E-Value+ trim is characterized by a lower price due to slimming down some of the specifications. Representative features include the omission of the first-row heated and ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and leather seats replaced with fabric seats. However, the latest ADAS such as lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and highway driving assist are standard.

Meanwhile, a Hyundai official said, “Considering the increasingly diverse customer preferences, we have prepared a practical trim that will expand the range of choices and lower the barrier to purchasing electric vehicles. We will continue to prepare various methods so that more people can enjoy the innovative mobility experience provided by Hyundai Motor Company’s electric vehicles.”
