Jihad about Emily GT: “We will deliver cars in August”

The tours around the EV Electra and Emily GT have caused many to lose hope. What will happen with the Nevs project and will there be any manufacturing in Trollhättan?

On Wednesday, guests could take part in a streamed interview with Jihad Mohammad and the Dutch Saab club’s chairman, Erno Reuvekamp.

In the interview, Jihad got to answer Erno’s questions about the future of the project and what the public can expect.

– Emily is coming, and will be even more beautiful than what you saw at the fair, says Jihad according to the streamed interview.

The fair he is referring to is the Electric Vehicle Fair, which we also visited. See Alrik’s interview with Jihad Mohammad here.

He further explains that several updates are underway, some of which are necessary as some subcontractors no longer exist. However, the specifications will be updated as well as the battery, and the interior will be “more futuristic”.

– We aim to be ready by August, as I promised, continues Jihad, when Erno asks him about a time frame.

Jihad also mentions that a factory has been acquired in Italy and believes that “production will start in August” and that around a hundred cars will be delivered.

– And the price will not be 80,000 [dollar]but between $50,000-$60,000 but I’m still pushing to get to $50,000,” adds Jihad.
