Kia EV3 can be purchased for 24 million won, subsidy of 6.22 million won confirmed

The Kia EV3 government subsidy has been confirmed. According to the Ministry of Environment’s EV Nurijip, the EV3 government subsidy is set at up to 6.22 million won depending on the trim. The EV3 can be purchased for 20 million won depending on the region, including local government subsidies. The EV3 was developed with the goal of popularizing electric vehicles, and can travel up to 501 km.

The detailed EV3 prices are 42.08 million won for the Standard Air, 45.71 million won for the Earth, 46.66 million won for the GT Line, 46.5 million won for the Long Range Air, 50.13 million won for the Earth, and 51.08 million won for the GT Line before applying the electric vehicle tax benefits. After reflecting the tax benefits, Kia expects the EV3 Standard to start at 39.95 million won and the Long Range to start at 44.15 million won.

The EV3 government subsidy has been confirmed at 5.73 million won for the standard model and 6.22 million won for the long range. If you add local government subsidies without adding options based on Seoul City, the EV3 standard model can be purchased for 32.9 million won and the long range model for 36.5 million won. In Ulleung-gun, Gyeongbuk, where local government subsidies are high, the standard model is 24.53 million won and the long range model for 27.19 million won.

It can be seen that Kia has kept its promise of a long-range electric vehicle in the mid-30 million won range that it had announced before the EV3 was unveiled. The EV3 comes standard with domestic customer-preferred specifications such as ventilated and heated front seats, a panoramic wide display, Hi-pass, afterblow, the latest driver assistance systems, and nine airbags, including a center side airbag.

In addition, EV3 is equipped with various new technologies such as the world’s first THIN air conditioner, next-generation thermal management system, dual heat absorption type pit pump, i-Pedal 3.0, and smart regeneration system 3.0. EV3 is based on the E-GMP platform and has a standard battery capacity of 58.3kWh and a long-range capacity of 81.4kWh.

The EV3 can travel up to 350km on a single charge for standard and 501km for long range. The EV3 is equipped with an electric motor designed for low noise, generating a maximum output of 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 28.8kgm. The EV3 rapid charging speed is up to 120~130kW, and it takes up to 31 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80%.
