Lando Norris has a green Porsche Carrera GT

Lando Norris washes away the disappointments of Hungary and Belgium with his green Porsche Carrera GT.

Lando Norris is Max Emilian Verstappen’s biggest competitor these days in Formula 1. At least, he is second in the World Championship, a long way behind Verstappen. But still, if McLaren were to do everything they could from now on to finish all races with a 1-2, there is still a chance for the young Brit.

In Hungary and Belgium, however, there were setbacks for Norris for various reasons. In Hungary, because he ultimately had to let his teammate Piastri win from the team. And in Belgium, because he messed up again at the start and therefore fell back. Even ultimately behind Max, who started from P11.

Luckily for Lando, the summer break offers opportunities to clear his head and enjoy the better aspects of being an F1 driver. The salary, for example, which allows him to buy fancy cars. Now, the Norris family could do that anyway, but it’s more fun if you can do it yourself.

We already know that Norris is a connoisseur because he is often spotted in his Fiat Jolly and also once had a Lamborghini Miura with him. Now he has outdone himself with a green Porsche Carrera GT.

A green Porsche Carrera GT, did that actually exist? Actually not. The Carrera GT only came in silver, gray, yellow, red or black from the factory. There are a few known in Paint-to-Sample colors, namely Navy Blue, Sand White, Fashion Gray, Slate Gray, Gulf Racing Blue, Cobalt Blue and Arancio Borealis. And later copies were repainted to Oak Green Metallic and Ruby Red Metallic. But where Norris dug up this green one we do not know.

Either way, it’s a beautiful car. And a real real one, with the atmospheric V10, tricky clutch and tricky tail. We’ll just leave that to Lando. Right?

   How can you top Miura? Porsche is nice, but Miura tops almost everything.

     Miura doesn’t fit anyone of normal Dutch size. Only gnomes.
