Lexus unveiled the LBX Morizo ​​RR on the 18th (local time). The LBX Morizo ​​RR is a high-performance version of Lexus’ next-generation compact SUV LBX, with a 1.6-liter 3-cylinder gasoline turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 304 horsepower. In particular, it can be combined with a 6-speed manual transmission. Sales will begin in Japan in August.

The LBX Morizo ​​RR is a high-performance version of the Lexus next-generation compact SUV, the LBX. The LBX is Lexus’ smallest SUV, developed with the goal of being an urban vehicle. It is even smaller than the existing Lexus compact SUV, the UX. The LBX Morizo ​​RR is equipped with the same 1.6-liter 3-cylinder gasoline turbo engine as the Toyota GR Yaris.

The LBX Morizo ​​RR produces a maximum output of 304 horsepower and a maximum torque of 40.8 kgm. The LBX Morizo ​​RR is available with a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed automatic transmission. The LBX Morizo ​​RR is an electronically controlled full-time AWD that accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds. A Torsen limited-slip differential is applied.

The LBX Morizo ​​RR is equipped with tuned suspension, lowering the ground clearance by 15 mm compared to the regular LBX. In addition, the Response-Enhancing Damping Structure (REDS) of the front lower arm and the upgraded braking system have been implemented for agile handling. The TNGA-B platform has been strengthened for high performance.

The LBX Morizo ​​RR exterior features body-colored fenders and side skirts, 19-inch forged wheels, dark chrome, and a body kit designed for brake cooling and aerodynamic performance. The interior features sports seats for comfort and support, aluminum pedals, Alcantara inserts, and red stitching.
