Nammi Box – extremely cheap electric car for Europe

The electric car Nammi Box will be a real price fighter and will cost around 35,000 less than the competitor Citroën ë-C3.

Behind Nammi Box is the giant Chinese car manufacturer Dongfeng, which wants to break into the European car market. Nammi Box is already available to order in Switzerland but will soon be offered in many other European countries.

In order to escape the EU’s new punitive tariffs on Chinese-made cars, the Nammi Box must be manufactured in Italy. The price is roughly equivalent to SEK 260,000 in Switzerland, which makes the car clearly cheaper than the competitors Citroën ë-C3 and BYD Dolphin.

So what do you get for the money? The Nammi Box has a 95 horsepower electric motor that is powered by a 42 kWh battery. It gives a WLTP range of 31 miles.

The Nammy Box is 402 centimeters long and holds 326 liters under the privacy cover. With the rear seat folded down, you can load 945 litres.
