The domestic price range of the Porsche Macan Electric has been revealed. According to a domestic dealer, the price of the Macan Electric has been set at a similar level to that of the existing internal combustion engine vehicle, ranging from 100 million won to 130 million won depending on the trim. The Macan Electric can drive up to 613 km according to the WLTP standard and will be released in the second half of this year.
The domestic lineup of the Macan Electric will be operated with the same 4 and turbo as the global lineup. The prices are expected to be in the 100 million won range and 130 million won range, respectively. It is similar to the Macan internal combustion engine S and GTS currently on sale in Korea. The Macan Electric will be released in the second half of this year. The Macan Electric is the brand’s first electric SUV.
The Macan Electric is based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) jointly developed by Porsche and Audi. The Macan Electric body size is 4784mm in overall length, 1938mm in overall width, 1622mm in overall height, and 2893mm in wheelbase. Based on the larger body compared to the Macan internal combustion engine, it provides a spacious interior and loading space.
The trunk capacity of the Macan Electric is 4,540~1,348 liters, and the Turbo 480~1,288 liters. The frunk capacity is 84 liters in all. The Macan Electric interior is equipped with digital specifications such as a 12.6-inch digital instrument panel, a 10.9-inch display, a 10.9-inch passenger display, and Porsche’s first augmented reality head-up display.
The Macan Electric is equipped with a 100kWh battery. It can drive up to 613km on a single charge according to WLTP. It supports ultra-fast charging at 270kW. It takes 21 minutes to charge the battery from 10% to 80%. It provides an 800V/400V voltage system. The Macan Electric comes with dual-motor all-wheel drive as standard.
The combined output of the Macan Electric is 4,387 hp, and the turbo 585 hp. With overboost, the total output is 408 hp and 639 hp, respectively. It accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 5.2 seconds and 3.3 seconds, respectively. It is equipped with two-valve damper technology, air suspension, and a rear-wheel steering system with Porsche’s maximum steering angle of 5 degrees.
