Tesla Model Y subsidies have been confirmed. According to the EV website, the Model Y subsidy, which began resale in April, has been confirmed to be up to 2.31 million won depending on the trim, and with the addition of local government subsidies, it can be purchased for 50.4 million won for rear-wheel drive (RWD). Model Y is characterized by some improvements in marketability.
Sales of Model Y, excluding the RWD standard, have been discontinued since the second half of last year. Resale of the full lineup began last April with RWD priced at 54.99 million won, AWD Long Range priced at 63.99 million won, and Performance priced at 71.99 million won. However, RWD is being sold for 52.99 million won (confirmed on May 23), a 2 million won reduction from the end of April.
The price of Model Y AWD Long Range and Performance has been lowered by more than 13 million won compared to just before sales were discontinued. Model Y government subsidies were confirmed at 2.11 million won for RWD, 2.27 million won for AWD long range, and 2.31 million won for performance. In addition to local government subsidies, Model Y RWD can be purchased for 50.4 million won in Seoul.
The place with the highest local government subsidies for Model Y is Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do. The total amount of government subsidies and local government subsidies is up to 5.17 million won. Model Y RWD can drive 356 km (low temperature 277) on a single charge with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. Model Y AWD Long Range and Performance use lithium-ion batteries.
The driving distance on a single charge is 432km (low temperature 343) and 449km (346km), respectively. All Model Y resale specifications are produced and imported from China. Additionally, Hardware 4.0 (HW4.0) was added. HW4.0 is characterized by a wider side camera angle of view and upgraded image quality of all cameras compared to the existing HW3.0.
