Volvo EX30:
The first examples of the new Volvo EX30 have arrived in Norway and the port of Drammen. The deliveries of the first customer cars take place during January.
The Norwegian Volvo organization has high expectations for the new EX30. The car had its world launch on 7 June this year, and on Monday 27 November the very first cars finally arrived in Norway.
Six test cars were picked up at Drammen harbor by Rita Kristin Broch, CEO of Volvo Car Norway and her team.
– It is incredibly exciting that the first EX30 cars are finally on Norwegian soil. The EX30 has received a warm reception both here at home and abroad, and we both believe and hope that it will become a common sight on Norwegian roads in the years to come, says Broch.
– Now these test cars will be driven by the Norwegian team for a few weeks, before the first customer cars arrive in the country in January. We are really looking forward to customers getting to experience the car soon, says Broch.
Good reception
The small SUV has already garnered praise from several quarters, and this week it was announced that the car is a finalist in the European Car Of The Year award.
Test drive: Volvo’s upcoming bestseller
– It is very gratifying that the EX30 has received a warm reception. Volvo has thought a lot of new things with this car, both with regard to design, sustainability, technological solutions and interior choices – and it is clear that this is being noticed, says Broch.
The first arrived EX30 models are not cars for customers, but will be used for internal testing in the Volvo system. The first customer cars are indeed just around the corner, and the Norwegian Volvo office aims to start deliveries to the first customers during January.
The Volvo EX30 has a starting price of NOK 321,900. If you order the car now, it has an estimated delivery in the second quarter of 2024.
