Volvo’s electric sedan has a date.
Today’s Volvo news was the updated XC90 that they presented this afternoon. However, they have more news today. Volvo also shows a glimpse of their next model. This will be a completely new car.
It concerns a car that we have been waiting for a while: the electric sedan. This will be called ES90 and according to earlier rumors would already go into production in May. It is now clear that this did not happen. In itself it is not surprising that it all takes a bit longer, because Volvo also had the necessary setbacks with the EX90.
Now, the ES90 is showing its first sign of life, as Volvo shares a teaser video. It doesn’t show much yet, but enough to see that the car looks a lot like an S90. So assume that the ES90 is to the S90 what the EX90 is to the XC90.
We now also know when we can expect the Volvo ES90. For that we will have to be patient until next year. Volvo enthusiasts can mark March 25 in their agenda.
