This Alfa Romeo doesn’t corner fast, but it does cost a lot of money

This Alfa Romeo Stelvio doesn’t corner very fast, but it still costs a lot of money.

The adage is that the real petrolhead must have owned an Alfa Romeo in his (m/f/i) life. Perhaps the first owner of this Stelvio limo just wanted to check that off for form’s sake when he (m/f/i) purchased a limo after all. We can’t really think of another reason why this Alfa Romeo Stelvio has been extended by meters.

Because indeed, just to stay with the theme of the day with dubiously named gas stations and converted Asians, this Alfa Romeo responded to all spam messages in the mailbox. It is now so long that it can accommodate twelve paying customers. They can wrap themselves in the psychedelic light tones. And enjoy the refreshments in the minibar. All while they are being transported to their destination quietly and in a tight line, of course. Everything exudes the atmosphere of lost dreams, Elvis impersonators and striptease dancers.

The intriguing question still remains ‘why an Alfa?’. But we don’t get an answer to that. Maybe just to have something different than usual. In principle you can stick the nose and butt of almost anything on such a long structure. But in limo country America, it is traditionally mainly the Lincoln Town Car that is used for this. In any case, customers in the back will be happy that the first owner had the 2.0 turbotor installed. With the 2.9 in the front, you could easily lie on the lap of that Elvis impersonator when you accelerated hard. You shouldn’t want to.

Just to mention some technical facts: the car was converted by Pinnacle Limousine Manufacturing (who doesn’t know them). The length is not stated. But it’s so long that it doesn’t even fit in the photo. Interestingly enough, the asking price was $99,000. We write was, because the thing has already been sold unfortunately. But hey, if you’re in the market for one biohazard young used limousine, it is a price indication. So you have to make quite a few trips to galas and other dubious parties before you get it out. Whose deed.
