Kia has released the new K8 taxi model. The new K8 taxi is based on the K8 partial change and is equipped with a 3.5-liter 6-cylinder LPG engine, generating a maximum output of 240 horsepower, and is a full package configuration including the latest driver assistance system including R-MDPS, Lane Following Assist 2, and Ergo motion seats. The price is 35.29 million won.
The new K8 taxi is priced at 35.29 million won with the Noblesse single trim. The new K8 taxi has increased its starting price by 7.19 million won as the existing Standard and Trendy trims have been deleted and changed to the Noblesse trim. However, the option configuration has been greatly upgraded. The Hyundai Grandeur taxi price is 36.05 million won.
The new K8 taxi is equipped with a 3.5-liter 6-cylinder LPG engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission, generating a maximum output of 240 horsepower and a maximum torque of 32 kgm. The combined fuel efficiency is 8 km/ℓ (city 6.8, highway 10.2) based on 17-inch wheels. The round LPG cylinder is placed at the bottom of the trunk space to maximize space utilization. The cylinder capacity is 71 ℓ.
The new K8 taxi has a full package configuration similar to the general model, including R-MDPS, electric tilt & telescopic steering wheel, steering wheel vibration warning, driver seat easy access, driver position memory system, afterblow, e-Hi-pass, first-row ventilation and heated seats, and driver seat ergo motion and relaxation comfort seat.
The new K8 taxi also comes standard with the latest driver assistance systems including Lane Following Assist 2 and Navigation Smart Cruise Control, a fire extinguisher, LED center positioning lamp, double-laminated soundproof glass, and technical metallic interior materials. Optional features include heated second-row seats, manual curtains, and Highway Driving Assist 2.
