An electric vehicle will be introduced to the KG Mobility Actyon. Overseas automobile media outlet Motor.es announced on the 23rd that it has confirmed that the Actyon will be equipped with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery and a single electric motor, similar to the Torres EVX. The Actyon is a coupe SUV that is currently available for pre-order in Korea, and the price and specifications will be announced in August.

The Actyon is a mass-produced car with the project name J120, known as the Torres Coupe. Pre-orders are currently taking place in Korea, and information on the price range and products will be released in mid-August. The official launch is also scheduled for August. More than 16,000 units of the Actyon have been reserved, even though information including the powertrain has not been released.

According to Motor.es, the Actyon will be powered by gasoline and electric power. The Actyon EV shares its battery, electric motor, etc. with the Torres EVX. The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery capacity is 73.4 kWh, and the electric motor has a maximum output of 206 horsepower. Motor.es evaluated the Actyon design as being similar to the Range Rover Velar.

The detailed specifications of the Actyon gasoline have been released after the domestic Ministry of Environment’s emission and noise certifications were completed. The Actyon gasoline is available with a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission, with a choice of 2WD or 4WD. The maximum output is 170 horsepower, and the maximum torque is 28.6 kgm. The curb weight is 1590 kg to 1680 kg.

The Actyon is a sophisticated and dynamic coupe-style urban SUV that combines a stylish design with the practicality of an SUV that can be used for various purposes. The name Actyon continues the authenticity of the first-generation Actyon that KGM introduced in 2005 as the world’s first SUC concept and attracted attention.
