Tragic end to an emergency trip: Woman dies after collision with ambulance in Frankfurt.
(dpa/Car Whiz/KI) There was a tragic traffic accident in Frankfurt am Main in which a 59-year-old woman suffered fatal injuries. According to police, the vehicle in which the woman was a passenger collided with an ambulance. The accident occurred on Monday.
The 59-year-old was immediately taken to hospital after the collision, where she later died from her injuries. The driver of the car and a child who was also in the car suffered minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for further treatment.
There were two emergency services and a patient in the affected ambulance, which was on an emergency trip with the blue lights on at the time of the accident. Based on the information available, no one was injured in this vehicle.
The exact cause of the collision is currently under investigation. According to initial findings, the police have not yet released any details about the cause of the accident.
