There are limits to what a car for DKK 340,000 can provide, but Tesla breaks the bounds with the facelifted Model 3 RWD. See in the video why this is the case.
Tesla has turned everything on its head with the Model Y. It is different from the competition, and when you add it together with the wild price reductions, which will soon be a year behind, it has been a bomb under the new car market. Good for Tesla, mostly bad for the others.
But Model Y is not always the right choice. If you don’t need to sit high, and you don’t need a lot of rear seat space, then the renewed Model 3 is in many ways a better choice.
We try the facelifted Model 3 for the first time, and it’s more than the price – DKK 340,000 for the nearly 300 hp RWD variant with over 550 kilometers of range – that makes it worth considering instead of the Model Y. And instead for one of the many other electric cars on the market.
It’s not perfect, but it’s exceptional value for money
Tesla has really put in where it matters to improve the not-quite-young Model 3. Is the design such an improvement? It is up to the individual. But improved range, better suspension, less noise and even more equipment can only go as upgrades.
The Model 3 is not perfect, and some novelties of the facelift are negative points. However, it is far from much better in other electric cars, so relatively speaking you really get a lot for your money in a Tesla Model 3 at DKK 340,000.
We look at what you get – and what you don’t get – in the video.
