Xpeng G9 gets long-awaited update

Now the electric SUV is getting an update that should make everyday life easier for the owners. Here we are talking about both software and hardware updates.

The big update concerns the smartphone integration: now wireless integration with the infotainment system in your Xpeng G9 is possible via Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

This makes it easier to manage your favorite apps. Once you’ve finished managing your favorite apps, you’ll also be able to enjoy new upholstery choices for the interior of the upgraded Xpeng G9.

In addition to black and saddle brown, the interior color diamond gray is now offered – with a black roof as an option regardless of trim.

In addition to this, the seat ventilation is improved for both the driver and the passenger as the backrests are also cooled. The center console now gets double wireless charging points with increased power to 50W, and gets built-in cooling that prevents overheating.

Not to be forgotten is the load capacity, which has also been revised: now the load capacity is 550 kg.

Upgraded Xpeng G9 can be ordered now and will be available from Xpeng dealers in September. See our Xpeng G9 test drive here.
