No, a Nismo Nissan GT-R is indeed not realistic as a lease car. But there is fantastic news for you. The Nissan Ariya, a fully electric crossover, is now also coming to Europe as a Nismo. With this, the label is finally returning to Europe after a temporary absence.
The Ariyo Nismo is the brand’s first fully electric car. This spicy version was presented at the Tokyo Auto Salon earlier this year. Normally, Nismo’s are the thickest and sportiest versions of a Nissan product. Among others, the 370Z and the GT-R were available as Nismo here in Europe. In its home country Japan, the brand sticks this branding on more models, but here they are a bit more cautious.
You can already order the Ariya Nismo this year. 2024 is the year that Nismo will blow out 40 candles. The Japanese do not want to let this milestone pass unnoticed by introducing the model here in Europe.

The Nissan Ariya Nismo is equipped with an 87 kWh battery pack and e-4ORCE all-wheel drive. The electric model has a modified suspension and the typical Nismo looks with red details. For the Japanese market, this setup delivers 435 hp and 600 Nm of torque. The interior is nicely finished with the necessary Nismo goodies, including sports seats that you know Nissan like a glove.
Nissan has not yet released a market launch, price and final specifications for the European market. For now, only the confirmation that the Nissan Ariya Nismo is coming to Europe and that is quite nice. Something different from the Korean or German stuff, right?
