Premiere for the new Fiat Grande Panda electric car

The new Fiat Grande Panda symbolizes a new generation of models from Stellantis and comes as both an electric car and a hybrid.

Fiat has unveiled the Grande Panda, which according to the Italian automaker marks their return to the global market and is a new generation model from the Stellantis group.

According to Fiat, the Grande Panda should be a clone of the first Panda and thus affordable and family-friendly. The car model, which is placed in the B segment, is 399 centimeters long, 157 centimeters high and 176 centimeters wide.

Fiat Grande Panda will be offered as a purely electric car and as a hybrid. The electric version has a 44 kWh battery and a 113 horsepower electric motor. The range with mixed driving is stated to be up to 32 miles according to WLTP.

The model is based on Stellanti’s Smart Car platform and has an integrated spiral charging cable that works with alternating current of up to 7 kW. The cable has a special compartment under the hood that should save space in the trunk. The luggage compartment is 361 litres.

Grande Panda will be offered in seven different colors: Red, white, black, green, brown, blue and yellow, in line with the “No Grey” initiative.

The instrument panel and frame, including the 10-inch cluster and the 10.25-inch infotainment system have a style that should recall the shape of the Italian Lingotto test track.

Prices should start from less than 25,000 euros, corresponding to 287,000 Swedish kronor. However, the Swedish prices have not yet been determined.
