Kia unveiled the fuel efficiency of its Carnival Hybrid High Limousine and began full-scale sales on the 15th. Carnival Hybrid High Limousine has secured higher energy efficiency than diesel with a combined fuel efficiency of up to 13 km/l. Carnival High Limousine has options that differentiate it from the regular model. The price is 62.5 million won.
Carnival Hybrid High Limousine prices are KRW 62.5 million for the 9-seater Noblesse, KRW 69.45 million for the Signature, KRW 72.7 million for the 7-seater Signature, and KRW 96.5 million for the 4-seater Signature. The Carnival Hybrid High Limousine’s powertrain consists of a 1.6 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine, Smart Stream 6-speed automatic transmission, and electric motor.
The Carnival Hybrid High Limousine has a total system output of 245 horsepower and a maximum torque of 37.4kgm. The combined fuel efficiency of the Carnival Hybrid High Limousine is 13 km/l (13.8 in the city, 12.1 at high speeds) based on 9-seater and 7-seater vehicles and 18/19-inch wheels. The 4-seat 19-inch wheels are slightly lower at 12.4 km/l (12.9 in the city, 11.9 at high speeds).
The strength of the Carnival Hybrid High Limousine is that it secures higher fuel efficiency than the 3.5 gasoline and 2.2 diesel in all trims. It also supports E-Ride, which minimizes vehicle shaking, E-Handling, which increases steering response, and E-EHA, which increases avoidance ability. It is also equipped with specifications exclusive to the high limousine.
The new Carnival High Limousine has an interior and exterior design and specifications that are differentiated from the regular model. The exterior is equipped with side steps and a high roof rear auxiliary brake light. The interior was designed with the concept of ‘premium relaxation in a dedicated space.’ The overall height has been increased by up to 305mm, ensuring a spacious interior.
It is equipped with a ‘21.5-inch smart monitor’ that takes into account the viewing angle of rear seat passengers, an online video service (OTT), and an e-SIM router that allows use of in-vehicle Wi-Fi. As an additional option exclusive to the High Limousine, ‘Starry Sky Mood Lighting’, which resembles shining stars in the night sky, is provided on the ceiling.
‘Pleated curtains’ are installed on the sides and rear of the rear seats. The new Carnival High Limousine 4-seater 2nd row seats support ‘Dynamic Body Care’ which includes percussion/vibration massage. The seats are made of nappa leather with quilted stitching to enhance the sense of luxury. A refrigerator/heater and a foot massager are standard. The full package costs 103.6 million won.
