Audi unveiled the Q8 partially modified plug-in hybrid (PHEV) on the 24th (local time). The Q8 partially modified PHEV combines a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine and an electric motor to produce up to 490 horsepower depending on the trim. When fully charged with a 25.9kWh battery, the EV driving range is 85km based on WLTP. Domestic release is undecided.

The new Q8 PHEV is based on a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder gasoline engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The electric motor is integrated into an 8-speed automatic transmission. The new Q8 PHEV 55 TFSI e Quattro has a combined total output of 394 horsepower and a maximum torque of 61.2kgm. It takes 5.7 seconds to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h.

The new Q8 PHEV 60 TFSI e Quattro is equipped with an electric motor with increased output. It produces a combined total output of 490 horsepower and a maximum torque of 71.4kgm. It can accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 5 seconds. The new Q8 PHEV is equipped with a 25.9kWh battery. EV driving range is 85km based on WLTP.

The top speed of the new Q8 PHEV is limited to 240 km/h. It takes 3 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge the battery at a 7.4kW charging rate. In the new Q8 PHEV, when the battery capacity is above a certain level, the engine does not intervene even if the accelerator pedal is pressed to the maximum during EV driving. Recharge mode has been improved to maximize efficiency.
