BMW 3 Series partial change domestic lineup revealed, price increase notice

The domestic lineup of the new BMW 3 Series has been revealed. According to dealer officials, the new 3 Series will be operated with various models such as the diesel 320d, gasoline 320i, and high-performance gasoline M340i, and will be officially released in the fourth quarter. The new 3 Series has improved its marketability with new specifications and powertrains through the second partial change.

BMW is actively introducing the latest global models in the second half of this year, reflecting the importance of the Korean market. Representative examples include the second partial change of the 3 Series and 4 Series, and the full change of the X3. The domestic lineup of the new 3 Series is similar to the previous one, including the diesel 320d, gasoline 320i, and high-performance gasoline M340i. The price will increase slightly.

The 320d is available with rear-wheel drive and xDrive all-wheel drive, while the M340i is available with a single xDrive trim, unlike before. The 320d combines a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder diesel engine, a 48V mild hybrid system, and an 8-speed automatic transmission, producing a maximum output of 190 horsepower, a maximum torque of 40.8 kgm, and a 0->100 km/h time of 6.9 seconds (rear wheel).

The 320i is equipped with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission, producing a maximum output of 184 horsepower, a maximum torque of 30.6 kgm, and accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds. The M340i is equipped with a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder gasoline engine with an added 48V mild hybrid system, producing a maximum output of 391 horsepower and a maximum torque of 55 kgm.

The M340i accelerates from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. The new 3 Series has improved ride quality through chassis tuning. The mountings connecting the rear dampers to the body have been strengthened. The adaptive M suspension included in the M Sports package has been upgraded with electronically controlled dampers and variable sports steering.

The new 3 Series has a slightly changed exterior design, and the interior features a new steering wheel, a curved display consisting of a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.9-inch display, and new cascade mood lamps. The latest infotainment system OS 8.5 is built in, allowing you to watch videos such as YouTube.
