(British) Italian makes wild hand gestures at Max Verstappen

Secretly shot video footage shows that Italian Gianpiero Lambiase still had a bone to pick with Max Verstappen. Our hero receives the necessary wild hand gestures.

You can’t do anything these days without some creepy creep secretly checking you out. That’s even more true if you’re our hero Max Verstappen. Tall trees catch a lot of wind. Max Emilian is under fire a bit for his actions in Hungary. There he came into contact with Lewis Hamilton on the track again. In addition, he was again cursing at his team on the radio like a dockworker.

Both cases are of course still relevant a week later. There is new footage of the collision between Hamilton and Verstappen. Although the race management did not blame anyone, you can still see Hamilton steering into the passing Max. The footage was shown on F1TV, but unfortunately your faithful reporter cannot find it anywhere now.

The other issue was of course the complaining on the radio. Red Bull has reportedly ‘instructed’ our hero not to game until late at night, as he is wont to do. Max is of course no fan of this patronising and denies that such childish control is the case. However, a candid camera recording shows that the three-time champion and his race engineer ‘GP’ Lambiase still had something to discuss in Spa.

The technician is standing in front of a truck, gesticulating wildly, giving Max a sermon. He calmly accepts it and at some point seems to be able to laugh about it. In the end, of course, it will all work out. Max and GP have had so much success that you don’t change such a relationship until that success dries up.

In Belgium it was also dry during FP1. And Max was by far the fastest, as real experts had already predicted. Due to a grid penalty he will have to overtake people on Sunday… So that could be exciting again.

The best man was born and raised in England.

Actually, there is an Englishman and a Belgian in the photo.

And besides, GP is not Italian but British (with Italian roots, mind you).

Vt2 promises a lot of excitement for the race on Sunday

Max and Yuki both have a 10 place grid penalty, due to a new Honda engine.
And that could increase even more if it is decided to replace even more parts.
