Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Special Edition unveiled, 677 horsepower super sedan

Cadillac unveiled the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing special editions on the 14th (local time). The CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing Special Editions are models commemorating the 24 Hours of Le Mans and feature an exclusive matte exterior color and blue carbon accents. Powertrain performance is the same. Limited to 50 and 101 units, respectively.

The CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing special editions commemorate the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The CT4-V Blackwing Special Edition pays homage to the Cadillac Series 61 Coupe used in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1950s and is limited to 50 units. A total of 101 units of the CT5-V Blackwing Special Edition will be produced to commemorate the 101st anniversary of Le Mans.

The exterior of the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing Special Edition is finished in Magnus matte color. The front bumper splitter, side sills, rear bumper diffuser, and rear spoiler are made of carbon material painted in Stormhawk blue. The front and rear brake calipers were painted royal blue.

A unique graphic is engraved on the bottom of the CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing Special Edition first row doors. The interior can be configured in a two-tone color combination of sky cool gray, jet black, and phantom blue. Special edition-exclusive manual shift lever, seat heritage stitching, and carbon trim were applied.

The CT4-V Blackwing Special Edition is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 twin-turbo engine that produces a maximum output of 479 horsepower. It takes 4.1 seconds to accelerate from a standstill to 100 km/h. The CT5-V Blackwing Special Edition is a 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine with a maximum output of 677 horsepower and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.
