Cadillac China unveiled the new XT5 on the 8th. The new XT5 is a second-generation full-change model, and it has a sophisticated exterior that reflects Cadillac’s latest design language. The body is larger than before. The interior is equipped with high-end specifications such as a wide display. The new XT5 is a global model, and it is likely to be released domestically.

The XT5 is Cadillac’s midsize SUV. The XT5 is part of Cadillac’s large three-row SUV, the XT6, and the brand’s iconic Escalade. Cadillac has recently unveiled and begun selling dedicated electric vehicles in various SUV segments, and is also strengthening its internal combustion engine SUV lineup.

The new XT5 is a second-generation full-change model. The new XT5 body size is 4888mm in overall length, 1957mm in overall width, 1694mm in overall height, and 2863mm in wheelbase. Compared to the previous generation, the overall length has increased by 73mm, the overall width by 52mm, the overall height by 9mm, and the wheelbase by 6mm. By domestic car standards, the body is larger than the Kia Sorento.

The exterior of the new XT5 reflects Cadillac’s latest design language. The front features Cadillac’s signature daytime running lights and headlamps arranged vertically, and a honeycomb grille. The rear features L-shaped taillamps. The side features flag-type side mirrors and 20-inch or 21-inch wheels.

The interior features a 33-inch 9K resolution curved display, a steering wheel with physical buttons and haptic feedback touch buttons, first-row massage seats, AKG audio, etc. The new XT5 combines a 2.0 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine, 48V MHEV, and 9-speed automatic transmission to generate a maximum output of 237 horsepower.
