The price of Kia EV3 was revealed ahead of its official launch. The price of EV3 starts at the standard price of 42.08 million won before tax benefits, and the actual purchase price after tax benefits is about 38.76 million won. Based on the Seoul Metropolitan Government’s standard electric vehicle subsidy (assuming 5.93 million won from the national treasury + 1.5 million won from the local government), the EV3 standard costs approximately 31.33 million won.

The EV3 domestic trim consists of Air Standard (KRW 42.08 million, Long Range KRW 46.5 million), Earth Standard (KRW 45.71 million, Long Range KRW 50.13 million), and GT-Line Standard (KRW 46.66 million, Long Range KRW 51.08 million). The 2024 electric vehicle subsidy is applied differently depending on the manufacturer, vehicle model, mileage, and trim. The GT-Line Long Range costs approximately 39.77 million won.

Kia has kept its promise of a long-distance electric vehicle priced in the 35 million won range. There is no difference in specifications between the EV3 Standard and Long Range other than the battery pack capacity. The basic EV3 model also comes standard with ADAS equipment such as smart cruise control, LED headlamps, artificial leather seats, an electric driver’s seat, and navigation.

The upper trim adds projection LED headlamps, dynamic ambient lighting, fabric wrapping, an electric trunk, and interior and exterior V2L. Surround view monitor, HDA2, sunroof, Harman Kardon sound, built-in cam 2, augmented reality navigation, and head-up display are additional options, and adding them all together costs 4.4 million won.

Meanwhile, the EV3 is a compact SUV electric vehicle and has a somewhat smaller interior space compared to the Seltos. Electric vehicles in a similar price range include Hyundai Motor Company’s Kona Electric (48.6~64.8kWh) at 45.84~53.57 million won, Kia Niro EV (64.8kWh) at 51.14~53.93 million won, and Kia EV3 (58.3~81.4kWh) at 42.08~51.08 million won.
