Peugeot’s new 3008 Hybrid unveiled, 195 horsepower coupe-type SUV

Peugeot unveiled the 3008 full-change hybrid 195e on the 24th (local time). The new 3008 Hybrid 195e is a plug-in hybrid that combines a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder PureTech engine, a next-generation electric motor, and a 21kWh battery, securing a total output of 195 horsepower and an EV driving range of 80km. Domestic release is undecided.

The new 3008 is based on Stellantis Group’s new STLA medium platform. The STLA medium platform is designed to accommodate hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, focusing on electric vehicles. The new 3008 electric vehicle was released globally in September last year under the car name E-3008.

The new 3008 plug-in hybrid powertrain consists of a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder PureTech engine, a next-generation electric motor, a 21kWh battery, and an electronic 7-speed dual clutch transmission. The new 3008 plug-in hybrid has a total output of 195 horsepower. The EV driving range is up to 80km based on WLTP.

The new 3008 plug-in hybrid is equipped with 19-inch wheels, full LED headlamps and rear lamps, 2-zone air conditioning, fabric and artificial leather seats, active lane keeping assist, i-cockpit, etc., and the higher trims include pixel LED headlamps and adaptive cruise. Controls, Peugeot i-toggle, ambient lamps, etc. are added.

The new 3008 is a 3rd generation full change and features a coupe-like exterior with a smoothly falling roofline. Lamps in the shape of three lion claws were applied to the front and rear parts. The wheelbase is 2739mm, 64mm longer than the previous generation. The i-cockpit consists of a 21-inch panoramic display.
