STCC is back this weekend – “we’re now gearing up”

This weekend, the all-electric STCC is back and then the race at Ring Knutstorp in Skåne is on the agenda.

As the original plans to hold the competitions in Helsingborg were postponed until 2025, they will be held at Ring Knutstorp instead.

Purchased tickets are valid and to make life easier for visitors, a bus ride from Helsingborg to Ring Knutstorp is also offered free of charge. However, whether there will be electric buses has not been communicated.

– When we cannot bring the racing to central Helsingborg in 2024, we simply have to make the best of the situation and take people from Helsingborg to Knutstorp and back, says Micke Bern, CEO of STCC.

– Many partners and sponsors will provide accommodation and activation during this weekend in Helsingborg, so STCC will definitely be visible and active in the city of Helsingborg.

One driver who is particularly excited to get started as the STCC season enters its second half after the summer is Viktor Gustavsson. He missed the last competition before the summer break due to a broken rib.

– It will be crazy fun to get behind the wheel of the STCC car with Exion Racing again! says Viktor Gustavsson, according to STCC’s website.

– It will be extra exciting to drive at Ring Knutstorp after the premiere of a city track in Gothenburg, a completely new challenge to adapt the car and my driving for a traditional track.

In honor of the weekend, four sub-competitions are held at Ring Knutstorp before the final competition weekend at Mantorp Park a week later.

– Newsrace is one of the absolute best competitions in Sweden and we are now gearing up together with Ring Knutstorp where the audience will get to see twice as many competitions, adds Micke Bern.

– We would like to thank the organizations at Ring Knutstorp and Helsingborg for making this solution possible.
