“The new Mustang generation offers an ideal basis for our developments,” says Robbie Kazandjian, Director of Steeda Europe. “We offer European customers an affordable high-performance sports car with a V8 engine. We took the first two examples of the Steeda Q767 Dark Horse to the Nürburgring Nordschleife – the world’s most demanding test track. We were very pleased with the consistently positive feedback from experts such as ‘Wizard of Nur’ Misha Charoudin.”

Steeda: High performance on and off the racetrack

At the Track Days, Steeda presented a Q767 Dark Horse with an automatic transmission and one with a six-speed manual transmission as well as optional Recaro seats. The extensive modifications include new camber plates that allow the front wheels to be tilted by up to minus three degrees. This improves grip during dynamic driving maneuvers. Adjustable anti-roll bars on the front and rear axles as well as targeted reinforcements through the Steeda subframe bearing system and strut braces increase rigidity and improve driving characteristics.

Specially developed dual-rate springs lower the vehicle height and offer a combination of comfort and sporty reduced body movements. The wheel package with 20-inch rims from OZ Racing including Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires is optionally available.

The result: a significantly higher level of grip as well as sporty longitudinal and lateral dynamics, which is reflected in more precise steering behavior, less lateral inclination and a more stable rear.

The standard 453 hp of the 5.0-liter V8 engine remained untouched in the first models of the Steeda Q767 Dark Horse in order to focus on the driving dynamics. However, performance-enhancing measures are already being planned.
