The Elsuven Cupra Tavascan has its Swedish premiere

An upcoming company car favourite? That’s what it sounds like when Cupra presents the new Cupra Tavascan – an SUV coupé based on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB platform.

The new electric SUV Cupra Tavascan will have its Swedish premiere at the electric car fair eCarExpo, which will take place between 2-4 February at Friends Arena, now called Strawberry Arena. A special presentation will take place on the day of the premiere, February 2.

Two power options are offered – the VZ version, with 340 hp, four-wheel drive and front and rear electric motors. It is joined by the slightly weaker version of 286 hp, with rear-wheel drive and an electric motor on the rear axle.

The luggage compartment holds 540 liters and a towbar and roof rack are available as options.

– Cupra Tavascan will attract company car drivers with its unique and attractive design, high safety, generous spaces, long range and the possibility to choose both four-wheel drive and towbar, in addition, we are working to make such an attractive pricing with reasonable TCO and a good benefit value, says Cupra brand manager Per Brinkenberg, according to a press release.

Next up will be the plug-in hybrid Cupra Terramar, which will have its world premiere in August at the America’s Cup competition in Barcelona. In the same press release, Cupra says that the Cupra Raval city car is expected in 2025.
