Sometimes we forget how stingy German car brands can be. We did not initially consider the fact that the ID.7 has adaptive cruise control to be anything special. But it must be removed from the options list for both Mercedes and BMW. But Volkswagen can also do some of it yourself, because it charges the heat pump separately. Even Mercedes and BMW don’t dare to do that.
Furthermore, the ID.7 is well equipped, with a 360-degree camera and headlights with matrix function. With a base price of 69,928 euros, the Mercedes EQE hardly more expensive than the ID.7, but such an EQE 300 is the winner of the price list. Options such as the 360-degree camera and the headlights with matrix function are not available for that version, while adaptive cruise control is included in a very expensive package. Strangely enough, you can tick the tow bar for free.

Cheaper: Hyundai Ioniq 6
You already drive one Hyundai Ioniq 6 for 45,895 euros, but for a version with the large battery (77.4 instead of 53 kWh) and a version that exceeds the ID.7 Pro Business in terms of luxury, you pay 58,895 euros. The heat pump is included in the price and the towbar is a dealer accessory of 919 euros, so the bottom line is 4 grand cheaper.
