Cadillac unveiled the Optiq global specifications on the 30th (local time). The Optic is a compact SUV smaller than the Cadillac Lyriq and is equipped with the GM Ultium platform and battery system. The driving distance on a single charge is 483km according to EPA standards. Various advanced specifications were applied. The price is $54,000 (about 74 million won).

Optic’s main competing model is the Tesla Model Y Performance. The optic price is about 4 million won more expensive than the US standard Model Y Performance.

The Optik body size is 4820mm in length, 1644mm in height, and 2954mm in wheelbase. The exterior of the optic reflects Cadillac’s latest electric vehicle design language. It features a front black crystal shield grille with animation functions such as welcome lighting, vertical headlamps, embedded door handles, and a glass roof.

The interior is equipped with a 33-inch curved display with an integrated digital instrument panel and display, and an AKG audio system with 19 speakers. The Optic can drive 483km based on EPA standards when fully charged with an 85kWh battery. Through fast charging, you can achieve a driving range of up to 127km in just 10 minutes.

The Optic comes standard with a dual-motor four-wheel drive system. It has a combined total output of 304 horsepower and a maximum torque of 48.8kgm. Optic comes standard with hands-free driver assistance systems Super Cruise, adaptive cruise control, emergency braking, and lane keeping. The optic will be produced starting this fall, and its domestic release has not been determined.
