Leaked in a big way: Lamborghini Temerario

Hey, weren’t we supposed to see that until tomorrow?

The internet remains of course damned difficult for PR managers who want to keep their news under wraps for a few days. Now the undersigned has also been on the other side and seen that ‘something’ was leaked there on purpose. But here it really seems to be a mistake again.

Lamborghini is not happy that the successor of the Huracan is already appearing on some Instagram accounts a day before the reveal during Monterey Car Week. We were so kind to take them off there before the Italians start threatening with horse heads etc.

The not so high def photos actually show a pretty good looking car. Although the headlights look a bit KTM in our opinion. Furthermore, the design looks a bit more anonymous at first glance than that of the Huracan. That can’t be the intention of a Lamborghini, right? We’ll keep an eye on the inbox to see if an Italian lawyer shows up.

Until then: enjoy these two grainy photos and let us know what you think about the name of the Huracan’s successor: Temerario. By the way, Lamborghini had already released the sound of the successor.

   Is releasing existing models with a new bodykit and a very difficult name the only thing Lamborghini does besides selling Uruses (Urusi??)?

   I can only applaud something more anonymous than the Huracan! The Lambos of the past few years are design-technical screamers. So something more subtle is fine. I think it’s beautiful from what I can see now.

   A bit anonymous, certainly for Lamborghini. Maybe this was leaked on purpose and we will see a much more intense model at the official unveiling

   Rear corner looks a bit galardo square and the roof and A-pillar section is still very huracan. Nose is really completely new. But still a funny car.

   Mwah, I don’t think it’s an improvement in terms of design, especially those somewhat strange hexagon-like lamps break up the lines quite a bit..

   A more anonymous and safer design. I think it looks just like the headlights of the latest version of the Tesla 3 (..)
   What is special is that the distance between wheel and wheel arch is very small. Seems spectacularly low, almost like a sketch of a design is sometimes exaggerated. But.. it remains somewhat anonymous and those Tesla 3-viewers, M3 rims and also an R8-dna that still seems visible in the “bone structure”. It is a Lambo. Noblesse oblige (and then in Italian).

   They had to, recent Lambos have become a caricature of themselves.
   That styleless and lazy design trick of always making things wilder and more embellished will come to an end at some point.
   But whether this is the answer, I don’t know yet.

   Elegant. Where the smaller Ferraris have a problem with the air intake design, this is neatly solved. Beautiful car. Real photos of a real car in a nice color in a nice landscape will make it look even better.
