New Lexus LM soon launches in Korea, price in 100 million won range

The price of this luxury minivan is in the 100 million won range.

The new Lexus LM is expected to be introduced in Korea. According to the dealer, Lexus Korea is considering introducing the new LM domestically, and if confirmed, it will be launched in the second half of this year. The new LM is a luxury minivan that was developed with a focus on passenger comfort, and is characterized by differentiated marketability from the Toyota Alphard.

According to dealers, Lexus Korea is reportedly considering strengthening its new car lineup this year, including the luxury minivan LM, flagship SUV LX full change, and new LS. The new LM is a more advanced version of the Toyota Alphard. The recently revealed new LM UK price is 89,995 pounds (about 150 million won).

The new LM has improved torsional rigidity by 50% compared to the previous generation, including the radiator support, rear rigidity reinforcement, straight rocker structure, and strengthened quarter pillars. AVS suspension with adaptive suspension and frequency-sensitive piston valve is applied to reduce vibration and provide optimal ride comfort.

The next-generation LM was developed with a focus on passenger comfort. The seat is designed to analyze the passenger’s body movements to reduce head movement and maintain a stable gaze. Two types of shock-absorbing materials were used in the second-row seats to reduce vibration when stopping and driving. It operates with 4/6/7 seats.

The highest trim, the 4-seater Takumi, has a partition placed between the first and second rows. It is equipped with a 48-inch wide display. A refrigerator, heated armrests, a state-of-the-art air conditioning system that detects and controls passengers’ temperature, second-row ventilated/heated/massaging captain’s seats, and a sound system with 23 speakers were applied.

The new LM is operated as a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder gasoline turbo-based hybrid and a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline naturally aspirated hybrid. Lexus Safety System+, which consists of dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, driver monitoring, and forward collision warning, is standard.
